Light

The colorful Ring of Fire Philodendron prefers bright indirect light (it can handle a little direct east or west light). Too much direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while too little light can cause the variegation to fade. An east or west-facing window is ideal.

Watering:

Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Avoid overwatering, which can lead to root rot. Make sure pot has drainage hole. Higher humidity preferred.
