Arrowhead Care

The arrowhead species is native to a wide region of Latin America, from Mexico to Bolivia.

Light: The Arrowhead requires bright, filtered light.  Keep these plants away from direct sunlight, as this will cause the arrowhead plant to burn or bleach. The Arrowhead plant will tolerate low light levels on occasion.

Water: This plant enjoys humidity. The soil should remain continuously moist throughout spring and summer. Reduce watering in winter, but do not allow plant to dry out. You can plan to water approximately every two weeks.

As the plant ages, it will begin to vine, making it suitable for a hanging basket. The plant can be trained on a pole or trellis for support. If you prefer, cut your plant back to 8" from the soil for a bushier look.
